My friend, Stephany, and I went shopping today! We splurged, by that I meant a great deal of the money I saved went to my wants. :) I had fun today, except for the part that I lost my cell phone, BS right? Oh, F21 in megamall is really huge, er, spacious. haha They got all the accesories I want, but I ended up buying nothing(acessories) because I told mahself that I could find those things in Divisoria and Tutuban Mall. (I’m cheap eh?) I love the clothes! I love the leggings, the prices are reasonable, I actually tried on six.
The fun part: We went to the fitting room to try all the things we placed on our shopping bag. Stephany, tried on the dress that I chose and guess what? She liked it! Gah! I was telling her that I like it too! and we were arguing for that fugly dress. So, to make the story short, here
You know how it ended. :) Hint: I’m the one with the fat fugly legs, obvious nman eh.
About my phone: I don’t know where I lost it: maybe somewhere in the mall or somewhere outside the mall. It’s over, I guess I would have to borrow a friend’s phone for a month? Thanks Pae! If she’d allow me.
So, sometime this week, I spotted some Tweets from Saab about angry comments on her Wordpress blog entry on Taylor Momsen. You know her as Little J (Jenny Humphrey) on Gossip Girl, and apparently now she’s trying to establish herself as a rockstar. Okay, then.
The gist of the post is that Taylor Momsen is kind of making a spectacle of herself. I’m not going to rehash it, just click on the link and read the entry yourself. I thought it was hilarious and spot on, and I love that Saab didn’t hold back or censor herself.
What I found really funny about it was that Taylor Momsen was quoted saying things like this:
“People think pop is rock, and the lines are getting blurred. Now Rihanna’s wearing f*cking leather jackets, and it’s really annoying.” (link)
“What happened to Zeppelin, and people who play their own instruments? There’s always going to be pop but it’s not real music, it’s not me.” (link)
“I don’t know who Justin Bieber is. I only know his name because it keeps being brought up to me. I listen to Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, so I have no idea who he is.” (link)
And then she rails on Miley Cyrus and Disney. And calls herself a rocker. Okay, we get it. You really like Led Zep. Like, really, really like Led Zep. You think is pop is stupid.
I remembered what I was like when I was in high school. It makes me cringe.
Let's take 5 minute to think about the past. Remember when Converse were the shoes to wear, not Nikes. Nikes use to be for nerds, remember? When Gap clothes were the shit, not The Hundreds. When those zip capri were the hottest pants on guys, not Skinnies. Remember when the more stuff you had in your backpack the cooler you were, and rolling backpacks we're the hype, not flat Jansports. Remember when tying your sweater to your waist made you look cool, not wearing cardigans. Remember when tying your hair up into a pigtail, pony tail made you look cute, not thin layers and side bangs. Oh how I miss my innocent smile. Remember when talking to guys we're really hard, and when playing tag you would chase only your crush? HAHA those were the days, now, everything is so complicated, everything is so alike.
Sometime last year, an image popped up on my Dashboard from a beauty editorial I couldn’t identify. It was basically a manicure. Black on top, and red underneath. Louboutin! I absolutely loved it and thought it was fab, liked the post, and then moved on.
I was at a shoot today after attending a nail spa event where I got my nails painted black. Our stylist for the shoot, Sidney Yap, told me my nails were so long, I could probably pull off the Louboutinicure if I could figure out how to do it.
I grabbed some frozen strawberries so I could ice your bruising knees But frozen things they all unfreeze and now I taste like All those frozen strawberries I used to chill your bruising knees, Hot July ain’t good to me I’m pink and black and blue
I got bruises on my knees for you And grass stains on my knees for you Got holes in my new jeans for you Got pink and black and blue
